Cabling & Bracing

Our Cabling & Bracing Service

Cabling and Bracing are 2 different things but they are both done to strengthen the trees i.e. to make them strong and supportive if we may say. Usually what happens is that trees tend to fall apart i.e. opens up and the trunks begin to grow separately which weakens the tree as a whole which then becomes a liability for the residential as well as commercial sector, wherever the place they are planted in.

To strengthen trees we use cabling method which allows us to drill a hole in the trunk of a tree and then insert a hook in it, with that hook we attach the steel cable and joins its other end to the part of the trunk which is splitting up, if this doesn’t work then we add bracing also and in this we add a steel rod making it pass through both the trunks of the tree and then tightening it as much as we can so that tree may grow firmly and strongly around it without moving further apart. Nowadays another method which is developed by Germany is introduced called a cobra cable method, In this we tight a rope-like structure around both the trunks of the tree and then tighten it, this is helpful as compared to cabling because as this is not made up of steel so it doesn’t tend to corrode.
